Saturday is no plastic bag day: A good @bullshit campaign?

Salam.
Hey readers. We meet again in this post. Well, since I am free and I have nothing else to do, so I’ve decided to post another entry live in KL.haha..


I’m convinced that most of us know about the ‘Saturday is no plastic bag day’ campaign which has been launched by the Government recently. Is it a good campaign or just a bullshit one? In my personal opinion, I just think that the campaign is just a mere bullshit campaign. Why did I say so? Because for me, there’s nothing good come out from it. For instance yea, the main objective is to save the world from pollution or something like that. And I have to agree, it is a good objective. But, it is also a chance for shopping complexes to charge extra money to their customers. We have to pay extra 20 cents for every plastic bag that we need. SO, WHERE DO YOU PUT THE GOOD OBJECTIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE?? SAVE OUR WORLD BY CHARGING EXTRA MONEY TO CUSTOMERS, IS THAT IT?


I didn’t say that I am strictly not supporting the campaign. But I do think, instead of using plastic bags in shopping complexes, why don’t we change it into using the paper bags campaign? This is more like it. And 1 more thing is, by just make the campaign works in only a day per week, why don’t we make it an everyday campaign? It is more appropriate thing to do. A day didn’t make any difference.


By doing that, we all can make our world a better place to live in. This is my opinion. So, what’s yours? Feel free to comment this post though. See you in next post. ^_^
